Rev. Trudy Irving

Pastor

Pastor Trudy began her ministry with the congregation and community of Christ Church on May 5, 2025. Following her 20+ years in the insurance profession, she earned her Master of Divinity Degree from Lancaster Theological Seminary, Lancaster, PA in May 2006, and she was ordained into Christian ministry on October 22, 2006. She currently resides in East Norriton Township, and is married to Kevin. They have one adult son, Matt who resides in Folsom, NJ with their daughter-in-law, Karen; granddaughter, Mackenzie; and grandson, Jason.

Christ Church, located at the corner of Noble and Marshall Streets in Norristown, is known by the congregation as ‘the corner of community and connection.’ Pastor Trudy appreciates this ‘catch phrase’ as she is passionate about sharing the love of Jesus with those she serves in her congregation and by connecting with non-profits, ecumenical partners and other community partners to serve the needs of the community. Working together to serve our community is a great blessing and a great opportunity to grow in our relationships with one another!
