At Christ Church, we believe faith is lived out through service.
Our ministries are rooted in compassion, generosity, and a commitment to meeting real needs in our community. Whether through ongoing outreach or seasonal efforts, each ministry reflects our calling to love our neighbors and serve with purpose. We invite you to learn more about how we put faith into action and how you can get involved.
In partnership with the Norristown Hospitality Center, Christ Church offers a Laundry Ministry to support neighbors in need. This ministry takes place on the first Thursday of each month and is available by appointment only. Appointments are coordinated through the Norristown Hospitality Center and the Mega Mat, located at the corner of West Marshall and George Streets (601 W. Marshall Street). Through this partnership, the church helps provide access to clean clothing and a sense of dignity and care for members of the community.
Norristown Hospitality CenterChrist Church’s Clothing Ministry provides a welcoming space for community members to access clothing at no cost. The Clothing Closet, located at Christ Church, is open for “shopping” on Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and clothing donations are accepted on Wednesdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Volunteer opportunities are available during both timeframes.
For questions or more information, please contact Antonia, the Clothing Closet Manager, at 610-308-3614.
Christ Church is home to a registered Little Free Library, part of the Little Free Library network. Open 24/7 and welcoming all ages, the library operates on a simple principle: take a book, share a book.
Visitors are invited to browse, borrow, or donate books and are welcome to stay awhile and enjoy reading on the church benches.
Learn more about Little Free LibraryDuring the winter season, Christ Church supports local blanket outreach in two ways. We accept financial donations, which are used by the church to buy blankets to distribute to our local police department as well as organizations such as the Salvation Army, Norristown Hospitality Center, and ACCESS. We also appreciate gently used and crocheted blankets that are donated for indoor use. Through these efforts, we help provide warmth, comfort, and care during the coldest months of the year.
Make a donation today!Throughout the year, Christ Church offers a variety of seasonal ministries that respond to community needs and special times of the year. These opportunities may change as new programs and outreach efforts are introduced.

United Fellowship gathers on the first Tuesday of each month around noon (except January and February) to assemble hygiene kits for the Norristown Hospitality Center. Meetings take place at a local restaurant. An ongoing collection of hygiene items supports this ministry, including travel-size deodorant, soap or shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, washcloths, and combs. Together, these efforts help provide essential personal care items to neighbors in need.
